So I finished my shoveling tonight (shoveling only has one L - that seems odd to me) and it sucked. It was like relocating ice bergs. The top 3 or 4 inches had solidified into a heavy mass and fought to stay in one continuous mass. Where I'd walked or driven it was like shoveling hardened concrete.
Still, I'm sure I spent less than half the time my neighbors did.

Do you have one of those shovels with the bend in it? Those rock.
If you were a WWF wrestler, I would call you Snow Plow!
I do, though it does not universally rock. It's definitely a back saver in many instances, but it doesn't give as much leverage when beating your way into a hardened snow pile.
I have the same shovel and had the same snow/ice combo
I can only still see a small patch of the actual driveway
I hurtle the escort into the garage like its Star Trek Five.
pretty exciting
