Heartbreak after heartbreak this damned March ritual.
Rare is the comeuppance for the team I despise.
Often it is for the teams I hold dear.
Every cinderella story ends 10 minutes too soon, except against my team.
It would be easier to learn to love the devil and save my self the pain.
But I won't and I can't.
Damn you cruel orb. Damn you.

10 minutes too soon??? How about five rounds?
For every such pain you have borne, consider our dear friend Mighty Tom. Late into the night, every Selection Sunday, it has become tradition for Big 10 coaches to desperately lobby our buddy to not, please for the love of God, not to make them "go all the way."
My ten rounds comment was about the Albany/CT game, which Albany dominated for 30 minutes, before running out of gas. That was the fate of the true cinderella.
What I should learn is not to base your picks on what you hear watching games on selection Sunday. Big Ten the toughest league in the country? My ass.
MT will never learn.
Very nice, and you will never escape its gravitational pull. Oh, and I didn't have to watch a selection show to wrongly pick Big Ten teams. It is simply what I do.
