The Ralph thing - OK. I sort of feel like as the character of Ralph as "developed" through the years, he's lost a bit of his original, simple purity.
One thing though - I saw, by pure chance the other day, a Simpsons episode that I must assume was from the last year or two. It was as good as any episode I've ever seen, and it left me in a really good state of mind about the series, which I've fallen out of step with in the past half decade or so. I'd feared the worst about some direction it might be heading, becoming a cheapo-gag shadow of its former self, but I feel a lot better now.
I can't see any of it here at school, so I will wait to see it this weekend. I only look at the internet at home on the weekends or when school is cancelled.

Upon further remembering, it was an episode where Home came home and thought Marge was cheating on him with Duffman.
It was sublime in concept and execution. So good. Better than the movie.
