More hot book action

As I wait for the stragglers to finish HP#7 I started reading Devil in the White City, so far a fascinating tale of the planning and intrigue behind the 1892 Columbian Exhibition (World's Fair) in Chicago and simultaneously the tale of a mind-blowingly evil serial killer who stalked Chicago at the same time.

The serial killer, while less gory than Jack the Ripper, killed so many more people that it's a wonder he has been lost to history.

Highly recommended so far, 1/4 of the way in.

I'm reading about John Wesley Powell's exploration of canyon country, though it may be on hold for a few days, as Sharon's copy of "Deathly Hallows" just came in.

I've got that White City book in Mp3 form from a year ago, and it's about time I had a new book to listen to on my commute.
