Neighbors threw a Cinco de Mayo party on Saturday evening. Pretty good turn-out with people dressed the part, including many sombreros and lots of fake moustaches. I made use of my sombrero from Paraguay (do they wear sombreros in Paraguay) and fit right in.
But my night was a short one. Tasty smooth margaritas and a generally low tolerance for alcohol sent me home in a thick fog a few short hours into the party. Needless to say, my body wanted none of it, so out it came. Haven't done that in a while.
With a good night's sleep, I was back in fighting shape on Sunday and managed to be pretty productive.

Gotta do it on occasion. We originally had planned to attend a Cinco de Mayo parade AND a local Green Living Expo over the weekend.
We ended up making a decision to just remain at home as a family and recharge. A very good decision in retrospect.
Nothing like a mixture of margaritas and black beans doing a latin number in your gut. Too much of a party inside, they wanted to party outside as well. Just don't ever stummble home and fall into the lake. Dead man floating.
