More love for pets
Last night, like many such occasions, upon returning from basketball, I pulled into my parking spot facing the house and looked towards the front door to see a familiar shape silhouetted and waiting for me. The blinds were closed but enough light leaked out between them to be able to easily make out the seated figure of Primus, perky ears and all.
I'd been gone for 3 hours. Had she been sitting there the whole time? No one else was home, with Faith out of town on business. During the day there is plenty of evidence that she spends a good portion of her time sleeping on various pieces of furniture around the house, including our bed, which is off limits when we're home. And sometimes when I come home at a slightly irregular time, she stumbles down from upstairs, still groggy from interrupted sleep, to begin the 'I'm so glad you're home dance'.
But last night she was there the moment I arrived, and her loyalty, patience, and exuberance brought joy to my heart.

You have a great looking dog. Glad that he brings you so much goodness in your life.
Thanks.
She's a sweetie.
OOpps, my bad. I didn't remember that he was a she. I simply forgot the fact. When I made the post I was actually aware of the fact that I could be calling it by the wrong sex. I gambled and lost.
No problem.
Making patterns with pictures is fun. In elementary school we call this an A B pattern.
You are correct sir.
But no more.
You are right to love that dog.
Hello - nice to see Primus
