Resolution Update

Remodelling - not much progress, though winter makes it harder.

Strength training - was going good with a rash of shovelling, particularly maintaining a skating rink, but with a warm end to January, I have yet to supplement that.

Soda - going well.

I've taken up the torch of tea drinking from Dan. I was never a huge coffee drinker, but neither was I a big tea drinker. Lots of options and a good warm treat make tea a pretty satisfying choice.

Hang in there on the strength training. I've been doing two sets of 20 push ups after every run, as well as trying to do push ups on other days. I aspire to add pullups and curls to the routing, but haven't yet.

I gotta say, toting Lucy around has kept my arms surprisingly fit through my general dearth of weight lifting in the past couple of years.

I'm not giving up on it, but I've never been one to enjoy any of those focused, strength-training regimens. I'd much rather carry sacks of grain up and down the driveway, assuming there was some purpose to it.

I have started basketball up again at church. that is one heck of a workout. My intent and goal is to do the running thing too. Jonah has been ill and it is hard to venture out. I played a lot of volleyball yesterday after school with some other teachers. My butt was all over the floor making plays.

Oh shit! Should probably not say anything about my resolutions. Delete my comments please.

And by plays, you mean piles.

Your resolutions can go here. Don't be so touchy.

I'll touch you bastards upside the head! :) I am actually laughing about this drama. Insane conversations are sometimes necessary for crazy days.

Let's throw down, Clogger! This is a sore point for me, indeed. I've been accused of being Mr. Rules and Regulations one too many times.

From my perspective, I've been trying to round up a bunch of crazy jackrabbits that have no concept of reality or consequences for about 15 years. If I have drifted into the role of "organizer," it's because you bastards have let me and encouraged me by shirking all semblance of interest in taking responsibility for instigating anything.

Without my "meddling," Mixdorf & Cory & Gibbs had about an eight year gap in between visits to one another until Gibbs out to MA this last fall. The one instance where someone else has taken the initiative and tried to organize has been Cory, with Escalante. And look at him: he's a nervous, twisted, crazy wreck over a thing that's still five months out.

Well have a ball, cause this one's all yours, stupid faggot.

Instead of Escalante...

Escalation!

Was there a phone conversation in there somewhere that I missed?

No, this is from Cory's flip out on the TMC blog. I'm just getting tired of people who have no interest in taking things in this world and making them better haranguing and insulting those who do.

Why do you have to go the route of stupid faggot? You retarded bitch!

Easy with the tough talk, both of yas.

Call each other names in your own blogs.

I was just trying to honor the creator of this Blog with one of his very own oldies but goodies.

That may have been from an era that was pre-Cory...

It was certainly BCE.
