Hitchcock Weekend

The Trouble With Harry - 1955 by Alfred Hitchcock

I'd seen this a long time ago, and remembered it as something unusual from Hitchcock.

It's an extremely quirky, mostly comedy that takes place somewhere in Vermont.

Great characters, great cinematography, and a funny story keep things rolling along.

Not a suspense thriller in any way.

Features a young Jerry Mathers (pre-Leave it to Beaver) and Shirley MacLaine in her screen debut.

Also watch The 39 Steps - 1935 also by Hitchcock. Early classic Hitchcock with all the elements he used throughout his career.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm not the Hitchcock fan some are-but I certainly have enjoyed a number of his films.

I have a hard time watching his movies. i don't think that they are dull at all, but something makes me go to sleep when I watch them.

You sir, are hopeless.

Maybe if Gibbons was around to slap the crap out of me to keep me awake, then maybe I could make it through an entire film.

Getting the crap to come out of you is NOT the problem.

Gibby is also a notorious movie sleeper, so you'll get no help there.

Every now and again, it is hard to get out. Constipation sucks!
