What's Wrong with Minneapolis?

According to Netflix, these DVD's are popular in Minneapolis:

There is a phenomenal sci-fi trend to be sure, but Nick and Jessica?

Sure you aren't just logged into the list of the last 5 things Aaron just rented?

No.

His recent rentals was a different though similar list.

He currently has a couple seasons of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Chicken Run at home, and appears to be working his way through the entire BTVS collection.

OK, so that means that you saw we rented Scooby Doo. That was ALL Krista's fault. She insisted that we watch it despite knowing how bad it would be. But, hey, SMG was in it so it at least had that going for it. It was supremely awful. The cast did pretty well with their roles, but it actually may have been worse than Manos Hands of Fate (factoring in the amount of money spent).

Speaking of SMG we are making our way through BTVS. I am digging it quite a bit more than I expected. Since joining Netflix we have always been working on one series or another (we watch while eating lunch when our only other choices are soaps or WCCO's midday with Bill Carlson (shudder)). We have done The Avengers, Star Trek (TOS and TNG), the Taken miniseries, The Office, and DVD is the only way to watch 24. We will likely alternate between BTVS and Six Feet Under once the fourth season is released.

No judgement was applied to my comments.

I did not notice you rented Scooby Doo. I can happily say that I saw it on a plane, and yes it sucked, although the guy that played Shaggy was amazing. Didn't see the second one.

I'm sure I would be quite entertained by Buffy, though I haven't caught the tv series on DVD bug. Will get The Simpsons, but otherwise.....probably nothing else.

IF I was subscribed to Netflix AND if I thought I would have a lot of free time, running through various series sounds like a lot of fun. I'd take on The Office (as well as a few other British Comedies), perhaps a couple of the great dramas of the last 10-15 years (including 24, maybe), as well as perhaps Three's Company.

Never liked it, never will.

Three's Company that is.

Blech!

Well, we don't have much free time, but that is the only TV we watch. At least until the FOX Sunday night premieres.

Dan said...

Wow-all you watch is "Three's Company?" You're more hardcore than I thought!

Aaron said...

I AM that hardcore! And if you will just watch, Pat, you'll see that life is a frolic and laughter is calling for you.

I guess my life will remain frolick and laughter free.
