I'm it?

In deference to Aaron who did include me in his tag list I will add my list here in an official post, rather than just leaving it sitting in the comment area of Dan's.

1. DVD's that I/we own (mostly me)
Let's see -

Pee Wee's Big Adventure - never grows old.

LOTR - as good as could be expected given the greatness of the source material.

Local Hero - a gem of a movie, long before there was Rushmore there was this, but in Scotland.

Lawrence of Arabia - a tour de force all around, cinematography that makes you weep.

Amelie - another gem, this time in French.

The Right Stuff - a movie about the greatness of America when life seemed simpler. If you don't want to go out and wave the flag (for all the right reasons) after watching this - you suck.

Blazing Saddles - funniest movie EVER. (forgot this on Dan's blog)

I guess that makes 7 or 9 depending on how you count LOTR. Not owning 60+ makes recounting and reviewing easier.

2. Last DVD bought - I think was ROTK.

3. Last DVD that I watched was American Splendor, a Netflix delivery. I was on a short Paul Giamatti kick having just watched Sideways.

I also don't really think owning lots of DVD's make sense - just a few that really trip your trigger.

Other than linking to the same people that are already linked, I'm short on fellow bloggers.

I almost included Amelie, Lost in Translation, and The Royal Tennebaums. Alas I was only allowed five.

I've been trying to get Gibbons to watch Amelie for years, the bitch. He doesn't know what he's missing.
