Basketball.
Has recently returned to my Tuesday night line-up. Up to something like 6 years straight of this friendly little league, and actually some of the guys that I play with have been doing it far longer than that.
Had a very solid night last night, good shooting, a fair number of assists, and some steals and other good defense. Was on a team where I had to play a sort of point guard. Had good success when driving and dishing, a skill very new to my repetoire.
More as the season progresses.

I would agree that defense and passing has been not one of your strong suits. I would add shooting and dribbling, as well.

Mildly funny once - but three times?
C'mon.
My basketball night is still going, but I have not been to it in a long time. I worry about getting to busy or too tired to play. I want to play until I am old, and even past that. Not a top priority now that we have two children at home. Good work Mixdorf on continuing your work in perfecting your skills and abilities!
Cory, don't forget to attend to your own needs!
Sarah asks me every Sunday if I am going to play basketball, but I am usually doing some home improvement or too tired to go. The biggest reason is that there are other guys who are there just to play basketball and don't care about the reason why we got a basketball minestry started at church in the first place. I am turned off.
You just described me when I was playing in the league at Olivet Baptist Church!
I play in a league of blasphemers. There is one very religious guy but he keeps it to himself. That, and we play in a secular school. We like to keep our church and hoops separate.
